Adam Melcher has been building with Joomla since 2009 and runs Newline Web Design, a Franklin, Tennessee agency that specializes in Joomla ecommerce development and has built Joomla sites generating revenues approaching a half-billion dollars. Over more than 15 years he has translated Joomla's flexibility into stores, membership platforms, and booking systems that actually perform under real business pressure.

Adam and co-founder Olivier Buisard are the lead developers of J2Commerce, one of Joomla's leading ecommerce extensions, which they run together. The newest version (6) is built on native Joomla 6 architecture and now powers Joomla stores worldwide, from small boutique catalogues to high-volume operations.

Beyond the product, Adam invests heavily in the Joomla community. He serves on the board of JDayUSA, the largest Joomla conference in North America, helping shape an event that has grown from a virtual experiment in 2020 to a hybrid in-person gathering with global reach. He also co-founded the Joomla Code Along User Group with Eoin Oliver to give developers structured, hands-on ways to level up together.
